The shape, although minimalistic, is exceedingly comfortable and has become an increasingly iconic item in the Arne Jacobsen collection for Fritz Hansen. Fritz Hansen was originally sceptical about producing the Ant Chair, but Jacobsen held faith in his design offering to personal buy all the chairs that weren't sold.
