Eames Wool Blanket
-
Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1947, the Eames Wool Blanket and its legendary Dot Pattern were created in conjunction with an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The pattern includes crosses and dots to become a large composition, and bears a resemblance to Ray Eames's abstract paintings from the 1930s. It is now part of the Vitra Black Collection. Dark colours give products understated style and an impression of elegance, and are easy to combine with other colours and materials in the house.
