This rug is a long-pile rug with variations of wool and linen. It is named after a bird – the Peacock (Påfågel in Swedish). And it is easy to understand why when you examine the rug's beautiful feather pattern. The original design was a woven rug made in Malaga, a Chenille yarn in wool and linen. This rug was later revived as a hand-tufted version with new yarns. Design by Berit Woelfer.
The original Påfågel was designed by Berit Woelfer in the ‘70s. Påfågel is a black and white graphic rug in wool and linen in a unique color scheme. Time-typical floral design which, thanks to its color and organic graphic form, is trend-sensitive with its timeless personality.
