The Florence Knoll Lounge chair sits perfectly with one or two Florence Knoll sofas, although a pair of these work extremely well on their own or with other pieces. We think it is deserving of the phrase "timeless classic", due to the clean, precise look which works well in pretty much any interior. Available in a huge range of fabrics and leathers, in an almost infinite colour palette you are sure to be able to select a finish to suit your interior. Seat and back cushions are finished with buttons on leather upholstery, and without buttons for all fabric versions. There is a co-ordinating three seat and two seat sofa as well as benches in two sizes.

As well as commissioning furniture from her Cranbrook colleagues, Florence Knoll designed her own furniture. She modestly called her designs the fill-in pieces that nobody else was doing Eero and Bertoia did the stars. The simple, elegant design of her fill-in pieces has allowed them to stand the test of time.

Construction
Inner frame is solid wood.
Exposed metal frame and legs constructed of heavy gauge tubular steel.
Seat suspension with No-Sag springs.
Arm, seat and back cushions are variable density foam welted and button tufted.
Pieces upholstered in leather have matching buttons; pieces upholstered in fabric do not have buttons.

Finishes
Metal frame finish available in either polished chrome or satin chrome.
Upholstery available in a range of fabric or Spinneybeck leather. This product is available with foam that meets requirements for BS5852.
