The Repos lounge chair was jointly developed by Vitra and the architect and designer Antonio Citterio in 2011, and it takes comfort on a whole new level. This modern lounger has generous padding, cosy armrests and high backrest, and it looks like it just wants to give you a hug. It rests on an elegant swivel base. The chair is available in two seat heights - 41cm and 46cm. Please specify your preferred seat height upon placing the order. A matching ottoman and Panchina (small bench) are also available to buy with the Repos.

The synchronised mechanism concealed beneath the upholstery adjusts automatically to the user's weight, providing flexible support and enabling the sitter to move from an upright position to a reclined angle for resting. The continuously adjustable mechanism can be locked in any position. This ensures great comfort and optimal spinal support across the entire range of movement. Please note that the Repos family has been recently improved by an updated seat mechanism. The access point has been relocated to the left hand side of the seat cushion (it was previously positioned under the seat) and backrest resistance is adjusted by inserting and tuning a new Allen key. For improved ease of use, mechanical resistance can now be easily fine-tuned while sitting in the armchair.
