The Essay table, designed by the Danish designer Cecile Manz in 2009, is an example of simplistic versatility. The table is perfectly balanced in aesthetics and practicality meaning it is extremely versatile in its uses and placing. Solid wood has a homely and nurturing appeal and this has been brought right up to date with the Essay table's clean lines and contemporary look. You can select from 4 solid wood options: oak, ash, black coloured ash and walnut, in a choice of four different sizes from 190 to 295cm. The Essay table has a clever yet simple extension system, whereby the user can add one or two black extension leaves in a choice of laminate or linoleum. The linoleum leaves come with a handy wall mount.

Essay is available in a variety of sizes. The table top and bases comes in several types of wood. The bases are also available in wood with a high gloss finish. Each of the tables can be expanded with black linoleum leaves on both sides.
