Tip Ton is a new chair designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby and developed by Vitra. It was unveiled at Milan's Salone del Mobile Internazionale in April 2011 and won product of the year at the 2011 FX Awards.

The Tip Ton chair is an ideal option for home office, dining, conference areas, restaurants and more and is available in a wide range of colours.

The name hints at the dual-function seating experience which defines the chair. From a resting position it tilts forward until the user reaches a defined point in the forward position. The key element of this seemingly simple action lies in a 9 degree tilt created by the shape of the chair's floor skids. The forward tilt sitting position straightens the pelvis and the change in position improves circulation to the back muscles.
